Intro to Relief: Linoleum

Learn the basics of linoleum carving and printing! Students will be supplied with linoleum and tools for carving, and led through design ideas for drawing your print (it would be useful to have some ideas what you are aiming for ahead of time, but inspiration and assistance will also be provided!).

Students will be introduced to the studio, the art of relief processes, and proper use of the facilities, including cleanup.

Class is taught by member Cooky Davies, an accomplished relief artist, and volunteer supervisor at SPPC.
